Veterans Equine Therapeutic Services Elects New Board Members

New Board of Directors Represents Diverse Sectors of Military Services and Veterans Support Experience

North Stonington, CT February 16, 2023– Veterans Equine Therapeutic Services (V.E.T.S.) announced the election
of six new members to its Board of Directors. V.E.T.S. provides healing therapeutic services to the broad veteran
community through equine, agricultural and educational engagement at no cost to the veteran participants.

The new directors come from varied sectors of military experience and support of the veteran community which
has brought important new perspectives to the organization’s mission. V.E.T.S. looks forward to their continued
future contributions. The newly elected board members, whose terms began January 1st, 2023, included:

Floresia Allen– President of S.W.E.E.T. Potato Society, Healthcare professional/Rehabilitation Specialist, BOD
for other organizations and 501c3 experience
Joshua Bladen– Engineering Supervisor, Navy Lieutenant
Jim Cottrell– US Army Veteran, Deployed Southeast Asia, Kuwait, NAVFAC GS-0802-12
Ashley Mullen– Director of Communications and Marketing; Senior Marketing Associate, New York Life
Investments
Kevin Robitaille– J.D., Attorney Advisor USCGA, Master of Law, Colonel U.S. Army (Ret.)
David Roessler– Secretary; Insurance Agent, First Casualty Insurance Group, V.E.T.S. Volunteer

Established in 2015, Veterans Equine Therapeutic Services (V.E.T.S.) provides equine-assisted programs to veterans
with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. Our veterans enjoy improvements in many aspects of life from
strength, flexibility, and balance to cognitive, behavioral, and emotional well-being.
